What Were These Nightmares?

It all started when footprints mysteriously appeared in the kitchen floor of my significant other’s home – he also claimed that the coffee machine turned on by itself – that day his energy totally changed and he became very angry and complained about everything – we had a huge argument over something very insignificant – that night I had a series of nightmares that left me startled.

I usually forget dreams as soon as I wake up but this one I cannot get out of my mind – it’s been 3 days and I still remember every detail.

Before going to bed I had two candles lit by me – on top of my nightstand – I fell asleep around 12 ish – woke up around 2 AM and when I fell back asleep that’s when the nightmares began.

In my first dream I was laying in the same position in bed – it seemed so real I didn’t realize I was in a dream – my candles that were lit – were off – I could see the smoke coming out of the Tip – my boyfriend who is laying next to me is silent – I know he’s next to me but I can’t see him nor he could hear what I’m saying – I’m asking him if he turned off the candles – it seems my voice is being sucked into a black hole because I scream and yell and the sound doesn’t come up – that’s when I realized I was in a dream – I was petrified with fear – I look over to the mirror in our wall which also faces the kitchen and I see a figure coming my way – I look down to the floor and it’s full of house plants – dark green leaves everywhere – then I look up to the ceiling and see peoples faces in the sand with their eyes rolling back! and then this words appeared: “TRY ME”

At that time I was trying as hard as I could to wake up but couldn’t – I started praying and after a battle of trying to wake up and darkness taking over I was able to wake up.

It was 3:00 am on the dot when I woke up and looked at the night clock.

I was trying hard not to fall back asleep – but it happened.

My second nightmare is very faint in my mind – I just remember trying to wake up and something not letting me – it was horrible.

What Was The Voice We Heard At 7 AM In The Living Room

Greetings.

Here is the environment:

I am an agnostic 39 year old married male. I would like to think that I do not believe in the metaphysical. However, this morning something very strange happened in my house. I live with my wife (40), daughter (1), and 2 small dogs (Chihuahuas). One dog we just got two days ago, and was sleeping in our living room in a caged area. He whimpers periodically through the night as he is a puppy.

This morning at 0700/7AM my wife and I were both awakened to a single loud phrase being uttered. The voice sounded like a deep male and came directly from our living room. The content of what was spoken sounded like what you would hear if you played a record backwards. It was a very short phrase.

Any ideas?

Strange Memories Not My Own

The last few years I have had some strange experiences. Sometimes after heavy exertion, I suddenly feel like I am someone else. I sometimes don’t know who or where I am, don’t know the date, but I have the feeling I am living someone else’s life.

I have memories of things I have never done before and of places that are unknown to me. It lasts about a half hour or so, then my own memories gradually come back.

I’m completely alert the whole time, no dizziness or anything like that.

It happened about a week ago when I was moving a 150 LB propane tank out of my car and dragging it to where I had to hook it up. All of a sudden I felt like I was someone else with their memories.

Can anyone explain this?

Twilight Sleep?

Has anyone ever felt like they were awake, but realize that they are still asleep? I think they call that Twilight sleep, but I’m not sure?

It is at times like that when I see things like a child or pets, but it is only for an instant. Once I’m wide awake I don’t see anything. Then I think I must have been dreaming.

One time I fell asleep on my coach and woke up, or thought I was awake and there was a little dark haired, dark skinned boy twirling some colorful rings [like small hula hoops] on both arms, smiling at me. He kind of looked like a little gypsy boy. As soon as I blinked and sat up, he was gone. After that I saw, several times a small monkey clanging cymbals together, like the little wind up toy monkeys we use to see when we were kids. I have seen that several time, but I have never seen the little boy again.

Is my mind playing tricks on me or is it a stage between sleep and awake where I might have visitors?

I wish that when I see these things It would last longer, so I could figure out if it is real or not!

Dream Of The Past Or A Premonition?

I had a dream where this person was flying a small air plane with a banner trailing behind it.

In the dream I and a couple of other people were sitting in a small boat watching it. All of a sudden the engines in the plane sputtered and stopped.

In the dream the pilot was struggling to start the engine and all of a sudden I could hear his thoughts. Like everything that was going through his mind.

He was thinking, “I have been trying to stop smoking and I have been really beating myself up for smoking and not stopping and now I’m going to die young anyway.”

The next thing I could hear the plane coming down and we were trying to get the boat out of the way. Then I woke up!

My question is this, Could this dream be of something that has already happened or a premonition of something that is going to happen.

I can’t relate anything in this dream to anything in my life present or past!

Why Do Street Lights Turn On or Off When We Pass?

When my girlfriend and I go on walks at night streetlights will turn off or on when we pass beneath them. This doesn’t happen when we are by ourselves, only when we are together. Keep in mind these are not motion activated, just regular street lights.

street lightsWe have seen several people walk past a seemingly burnt out light but when we go by it illuminates. I understand this happens to everyone but not like this. We have counted before and in an hour long walk got up to 13.

Could this be something paranormal or just a strange coincidence?

Do I Have A Gift? (help I’m scared)

I’ve been to a few mediums and told them about my experiences and they all have said I have a “gift” but I don’t know what that gift is.

Ever since I was young (6 years old) I have been terrified of spirits. Sometimes it feels like someone walks in the room when no ones there. Sometimes I get sad out of no where I just want to cry, and I’m not even sad. Its like someone else’s emotions.

I have dreams about ghosts all the time. And its not like they say they are dead. It will be a normal house, and normal person. Then all of a sudden I know they aren’t alive… But they don’t tell me.

My most terrifying dreams are ones that are always at on old house I use to live in… I was never able to sleep in my room alone I would go sleep with my mom because I was to scared. I have had many experiences in that house. Seen shadows, heard people talk in my ear, things move or levitate in front of me. Now every where I have lived since then, I still see shadows hear things but now when it talks it is in my momma’s voice saying my name. It has me shaking when that happens.

I will say ever since I started believing in god it has settled down with activity in the house. But the dreams wont… please help me. I am so confused and scared. I don’t want to be scared anymore.

Hallucination Or Something Else?

Hello everyone!

First of all, I’d like to say that I am not a native speaker of English so please forgive any linguistic mistakes I make. Secondly, I am a very open-minded person and I believe in paranormal situations. I share my experience because I’d like to see whether there are other interpretations apart from the logical one: hallucination.

The first night of my summer vacation with my boyfriend, as I was tossing and turning in our bed, having my eyes closed, at a moment when I had my back against my boyfriend, I opened my eyes (for no reason, it just happened) and I saw my boyfriend standing next to the bed staring me. He wasn’t doing anything, he was just standing still, looking at me. And he didn’t say anything when he saw that I saw him. That lasted more than five seconds. He really gave me the creeps! I was so afraid and surprised because I didn’t hear him walking (since I wasn’t sleeping.) So with a frightened voice I asked him “what are you doing?” and then I realized that he was actually sleeping next to me! And the “creepy guy” was gone…

Was that a kind of hallucination or something else? (Extra information: I don’t take any drugs or medication and I don’t drink)

Voodoo Death Paranormal House Experiences – Could They All Be Related?

Hello, I would like to share with you a real incident that my mother had many years ago.

My mother is from Greece but she lived in Nigeria, Africa for three years with her ex-husband. They had A LOT of money because of her husband’s ( Stelios )  job and as a result they had MANY enemies there.

It is said that Juju or black magic used to be very potent in Nigeria and my mother had seen herself many places where magic was performed. One day, when my mother went to her husband’s car, she found some hairs of his, hidden inside a peace of silver foil under his seat. At that time, she didn’t give any attention to it.

After a small period of time her brother ( Theodosis ) died after an accident he had with his motorcycle. The strange thing about it is that he died on Stelios’ name day!

My mother, the same day came back to Greece to see her brother for the last time. The next day ( a day before his funeral I think ) the doorbell of our apartment rang and it was a little girl 5-6 years old with long blonde hair, saying that she was lost and that she needed help. My mother agreed to help so she drove the girl back to her house ( the girl told her the address). The really creepy coincidence was that the little girl’s house was right across the house of Theodosis’ best friend! The girl’s house was inside a big plot full of trees and it was hard to be distinguished. My mother wanted to go with her until the door to make sure that she’ll be ok but she wouldn’t let her. She was finding excuses like ”we have dogs” or ”my mother will get ungry” in order not to let her go with her. After a few months my mother learned that that house was abandoned for many years.

Another strange think I forgot to mention is that we live in a flat in the third floor of a block so why did the little girl come up there and did not rang anyone else’s doorbell first? ( we have 5 more apartments below us, it is unlikely that no one else was there ). In addition to that, as any other block of flats, our has a main door that is always locked and you can not open it unless you have the key or someone else opens to you.

I really need your ideas on what that thing could be. Could it be caused by voodoo? Was the girl a ghost? A demon? My uncle’s soul? Since then my mother experiences many creepy things like strange dreams with her brother, butterflies in the house appearing from nowhere, she feels that someone is with her everywhere she goes, my grandmother feels someone touches her in the back when no one else is home, and MANY MANY other things! The last few years all these are weakened but I feel that something is still there! any ideas?

Thank you and excuse me for my bad English writing!

Is This Obsession Or Something Else?

I worked at a place called Ashmore Estates. It was a dark place, and had a dark feeling about it. Just stepping inside made me uncomfortable, and I was terrified of it. I believe that there truly is something evil there. I worked there for one month before I was forced to move cross country.

Since I moved it’s been almost four years. To this day I can’t stop talking about Ashmore Estates; I can’t stop thinking about it. I still am afraid of the place. If I did go back I wouldn’t ever enter it alone. But for some reason, I want to go back. I can’t get the old brick building out of my head. Even the way it smells. I’m obsessed with it, and I want to go back so bad I can taste it, even though I should hardly remember it. I mean, I was only there for a month and it’s been four years!

I don’t understand why this place is entrenched so deeply in my memory, and why I’m so obsessed with it. Could something dark in this building be pulling me back? Am I just going insane?
