About the Paranormal Q&A

The Paranormal Q&A website was put into place to give people a forum in which to discuss questions and ideas about the paranormal world around us.

The term “paranormal” is NOT limited to ghosts and hauntings. Here we will discuss such topics as (in no particular order): ghosts, spirits, the after life, reincarnation, religion and beliefs, extraterrestrials, strange creatures (cryptozoology), angels, psychic and clairvoyent abilities, demons, dreams, and more.

Everyone who participates is welcome to share their own opinions and ideas about the questions. The only limitations (ie rules) are:

  • No profanity, foul, abusive, or insulting language.
  • Comments must be written in English.
  • Do not write in all caps.
  • Do not post personal contact information such as phone number, email address or mailing address in the body of your comment. And do not ask others for their personal contact information.

The rules above will be adhered to very strictly to the best ability of the moderators.

We also ask that everyone tries to stay on topic and focus on the question at hand in order to best help those who are seeking help and information. However, this is not a “cut and dried” rule.

You will notice that many of the people posting answers and comments on the Paranormal Q&A website have custom avatars while others have a ‘mystery’ avatar. Anyone who wants to have a customized avatar instead of the ‘mystery man’ one can do so.

This Paranormal Q&A website operates on a software platform CMS called WordPress. The avatars shown here in these comments are actually located on WordPress.com’s servers. If you would like to have your own custom avatar here on Paranormal Q&A just go over to http://wordpress.com where you can create an account and upload your custom avatar.

Once you have an avatar uploaded to your wordpress.com account all you need to is enter the same exact email address associated with your account in the comments form and your avatar will automatically appear. There is no need to login to anything for this to work. Whenever you want to change your avatar just go back to wordpress.com login and edit your profile there.

Alternately you may use a service offered by http://gravatar.com which works the same way as I just described (WordPress and Gravatar work in partnership)

If anyone has any questions about this or additional info to share feel free.
