How Do I Learn About The Paranormal To Help Others?

What is the best way to learn about the paranormal in order to help others?

I recently found this site and have been intrigued by all of the things that I never could explain until finding this, and it led me to wonder how people learn all of this because I have many friends who keep struggling with paranormal and spiritual problems like ones discussed on this website.

I really wanted to know what is the best way that people have found to learn about the paranormal enough to be able to help my all of my friends? Thank you for your time.

Strange Things Going On In Our House

Hi. We first heard this strange knock, like, 10-15 years ago. My siblings and I are studying around 8 in the evening mid December, then 5 banging knocks hit our heavy wooden door from the outside. We know no one’s there since our parents are still not at home. We checked outside and yes, no one’s there.

Second time it happened, my husband and I are sleeping. Around 5 a.m, we heard 5 very light knocks, but this time outside our bedroom door; and just yesterday, I was awaken by these 4 knocks in the middle of the night, as if it’s the palm of a hand knocking outside our bedroom.

These are not the only strange things happening in our house:

You will hear someone taking a bath; then my 3 year-old child insisted to go down stairs past 3 a.m, he went down alone, I followed him, then downstairs, he strangely looked directly into “something” in our living room, after that he suddenly hugged me and cried then whispered “Mommy there’s a dead man standing there.”; there is also a time when I heard my brother’s voice in his room, so I talked to him from downstairs, then my sister noticed me then told me our brother is taking a bath, and no one is in the room; our nanny and my child also experienced someone calling their names, my child heard his daddy’s voice calling him even he’s still not at home; and when I’m doing a recording for a song inside our bedroom, when I played back the record, I heard a deep man’s voice laughing at the background when I know it’s very quiet and I’m all alone… I’m not sure if it is a doppelganger as what they call it, since we are hearing someone copying our voices… Please help.

Nightmares In A New Home

I recently moved to a new home in a new state. I’ve lived here for a month but over the last week and a half I’ve been in the master bedroom. Since moving into the master bedroom I haven’t been sleeping well.

I wake up about every 45 minutes and the second I’m asleep I start having the same dream about something dark whether that be a ghost or demonic presence but it attacks me in the dream, nightmare, whatever you call it. Since it happens every time I drift off I’m constantly tired but I don’t even want to sleep anymore.

What can I do about this? If anything? Should I be very concerned?

Three Rings Three Knocks Three Nights In A Row

I was lying in bed early in the morning, around 3:30 am. I heard 3 knocks on my apartment door. Then the telephone rang 3 times. I looked at the phone and there was no light on. This happened 3 nights in a row.

I thought it could a meaning in the bible, but there wasn’t anything there. I use to see ghost when I was little, about until the age of 10 years old. They gradually ceased when I moved to D.C. This is the first time I’ve heard something in a long time.

I’m still here in the city. I stop being afraid of them, with all the noise and lights. I was wide awake, I just don’t know what it could mean….. or, if it means anything. I haven’t heard it again, and it’s been two months.

What do you guys think?

Sincerely,

Sleep Paralysis

Possibly Sleep Paralysis Or Paranormal Experience

One night when I was a little lad, about 8 years old, I was sleeping in my room. The time was around 2:00-2:45 AM and I was awaken by something.

I remember very vividly that I couldn’t move a muscle, I could move my eyes and open my mouth to breath and felt a small pressure on my chest but I could not move nor yell for help.

After what felt to be a long lasting 30 seconds I heard a scratching noise from behind me, following that noise I heard a very scary scratchy old ladies voice and it said 4 words, “Your mom is pregnant”. That moment scared me so bad that 10 years down the road, I still remember the sound of the voice.

Later the following morning, my mom pulled me into the living room and say me down to “have a chat”. She explained to me that I am going to be a big brother and all of that stuff. My heart sunk. I didn’t talk to her about my experience until the next week, she didn’t think much of it.

Later after that night I would lay in bed and see what looked to be a shadow figure standing at my door, he looked like a solider in combat fatigues. They never did any harm, just stood there. When I would move to try and get a different angle, it would disappear. That lasted about a week.

Is this paranormal or was I just effected by high anxiety? Thank you.

Nightmares And Paranormal Activity

I’ve been having nightmares every night for the past nine months. It started when I began noticing little things around me change. I lost my best friend to cancer three years ago last February, and last summer (around the time I started noticing things change), I decided to try and talk to him. I was desperate and needed to know he was there. I started talking to the air, meditating, practicing little spells I found online. I looked into white magic and mediums and psychics: anything, just so I could talk to David again. It was around that time that I started giving up on the light stuff and wanted to go deeper: I pulled out a Ouija board I had found in the attic a few years before and decided to settle this. I was going to talk to him.

Nothing seemed to happen when I did the ritual. I was by myself, yes, but I followed everything from greeting to ending the ouija board ritual to the T. I was let down, but I didn’t know what I expected. I started noticing little things change shortly after like lights flickering, cold spots in the room, the feeling of a presence, hearing small distinguishable sounds like footsteps/coughs/whispers, but never being able to pinpoint where they were coming from (as if they were coming from my own head). I thought it was him trying to talk to me. I was elated.

But then the nightmares started. Horrible, vivid nightmares of death, abandonment, blood, drowning, stabbing, cutting, screaming, murder, fear, helplessness, pain, suffering, hate. All of the terrible things in the world you can imagine, stuffed into night after night of waking up in a cold sweat, convincing myself it wasn’t real.

Besides the small things I notice during the day (e.g. shadows out of the corner of my eye, the sounds/presences/cold spots I was hearing and feeling, general paranoia, etc), the nightmares have been the worst and biggest indicator of them all. My religions teacher noticed something off about me when she saw the bags under my eyes, and gave me a pendent of the Virgin Mary to “protect me”. She had no idea what was going on, but I feel like she felt something. I knew she felt something around me, and from the minute I put the pendent on, I felt a heaviness in my chest. As if something in my body didn’t want any religious article on my person.

The nightmares are relentless and only get worse with time. The more I notice what’s going on, the more it happens. I’m frightened. Was it because of the ouija board? Did I bring something evil into my life? What is happening to me? Will the nightmares get worse? How do I stop this?

I feel as though I brought something into my life. Not necessarily from the Ouija board, but from somewhere. I don’t know. Something is around me, near me, in me, I don’t know. But it speaks to me through nightmares, subtle images out of the corner of my eye, paranoia, and my fears. I’m so afraid, and I think whatever is doing this to me thrives off of my fear. Someone please help me figure out what this is.

Did I See My Friend’s Astral Body?

What did I see that night?

When I was about nine years old, there was a night where I had woken up with a dry throat. I got up to get a glass of water, and as I was drinking it, I was making faces at myself in the mirror (I was a strange child). As I was looking in the mirror, a blue-ish orb appeared next to my face. I looked over to see if it was there in real life, but it wasn’t, it was only visible in the mirror. Eventually, this orb took form of a human body and slowly developed details.

After everything had fully developed, I recognized this figure as my (still alive) best friend. The figure turned and looked toward me (still only visible in the mirror) and said, “Hi, Mystic.” It sounded kind of echo-y and distorted, as if perhaps a hologram were speaking? It was really strange, and after I hurriedly jumped back into bed and uncovered my eyes from the blanket, the figure was gone. I was wondering if maybe you knew what this could have been?

I’ve been trying to do some research ever since (literally about eight years later) but all to no avail. Last night I stumbled upon an article over “astral bodies,” which said that the human consciousness and the physical body are two separate things, and when the physical body is not conscious (during sleep or even meditation), the human consciousness takes a form and begins to pretty much live a life of its own, wandering from place to place. Perhaps I saw my friend’s astral body?

If there is anything you could tell me, it would be very appreciated!

I Remember The Moment I Woke Up To Life

What happened to me?

I’m 23 years old now, soon turning 24 and I remember a very distinct moment in my life. I tried researching this and nothing shows up, as if no one experienced the same thing I did?

When I was 4 years old, I remember exactly the moment I felt like I woke up. Not the sense of waking up from bed, but waking up and being alive. I remember right before I ‘woke’ up I was looking down at myself and saw my skeleton. Waking right after I saw my skeleton I kind of knew the names of my mom and my sister, but I wasn’t really sure how or why I knew there names. Like a reflex memory or something, anyway I just wanted to know what happened?

I have no memories prior to that day, and it wasn’t a gradual awakening, it felt like I was taking over this body and it’s a question that has been on my mind for 20 years with no answers.

Sinks Off – Turn Around – Sinks On

Alright so, about 5-6 weeks ago, I was on my way home from a location about 3 hours away.

On my way back, I stopped off at three places.

1) A gas station (half way through the trip), I walked in and straight to the urinal and did my business. Afterwards, I walked to the sink and the faucet was on. I’m thinking to myself “What an ass, who does that?”

2) A fast food restaurant (two-thirds through trip), walked in and went to the urinal, Came away and went to wash my hands, the faucet was on. Again.

3) A grocery store, (finally back in town), had to go again, couldn’t really wait. Went to the restroom, single person room. This time, the faucet was on when I entered.

To be clear, at the first two locations, I do not recall the sink being on. There also wasn’t anyone coming in or out of the restrooms.

Fast-forward a couple of days, I’m at home. I go use the bathroom and go back to my room. The bathroom is connected to my room. This time I heard it running (though I don’t recall it turning on), so I opened the door – faucet on. How? How likely is it that three public spaces and my own home, the same thing has been experienced? All bathrooms, all sinks.

I told my lady about this a few weeks ago.

Yesterday I went over to her house. At one point she and I walked back to her room, passing the bathroom (no faucet sound to my recollection). We shared some dialogue, and began walking down the hallway back to the living room. You can only imagine my surprise when I heard streaming water. So I pushed the half-closed bathroom door all the way open, popped on the light. Sure enough, the faucet is running. I looked at her, she looked at me, both with accusing eyes, but we shared the same goosebumps.

I’ve done a bit of research and I’ve found nothing.

Could this be just an incredibly odd coincidence? Could it hold significance? Is there any symbology around it?

Other than sinks, I cannot think of any other odd characteristics. No sounds, no movements, no dreams, just those damned sinks.

I’m not being driven towards any negative thoughts about it, I’m just genuinely curious. I wonder if there’s any perspective out there other than what one might ordinarily consider another’s lack of observation.

Thanks,

Tommy
