Someone close to me says that a “shadow person” is following them around, calling their name, and if he doesn’t answer, it says his full name. What could this be?

Hello, I’ve been wanting to know if what I have been seeing is just my mind playing tricks on me or its really paranormal activity.

I am  a 14 years old and my family built a house in 2008 in new market, tn. I know that there was a war on the other side of the railroad tracks but we are nowhere near it. Well the first time Ive seen anything was about two years after we moved in, I was asleep one night and I rolled over and opened my eyes.

The light from my DVR shines to the wall in front of it, I was able to see a human shaped shadow. Since I was in bed and no one else was in the room it couldnt be anything else. The feet started at the end of the bed and the head stopped in the middle of the wall. I just got up and touched its feet and ran.

Two days afterwards I got woken by noises that sounded like stuff being moved on my desk. Over the next few years I didn’t feel comfortable staying in the house alone but I had no choice since both of my parents work. I would hear strange noises like a dryer door closing or a cabinet. My room was almost always the coldest room in the house.

The other day when I was cleaning my closet I looked up at my attic access door(which I usally look at alot) and the attic door was pushed up and moved dignal. My parents thought it was just pressure or my brother, my brother didnt do it and when my dad put it back in place he said it was to heavy to be pressure.

No one has been in my room and no one goes to the attic. It hasn’t tried to touch me physically. Only I believe in paranormal in this house and have watched many shows about it. Im very fascinated about it, but Ive heard they can be very dangerous.

Hello all! So over the last few weeks, there seems to be a sudden increase in those pesky “Shadow People” passing by the corner of my eyes. It’s happened at home, at the grocery store, at work, and in the casino restroom I saw one pass right in front of my stall door but no one there when I opened it a second later.

I don’t feel fearful when I see one at all, just sort of a, “Huh oh hey what’s up?” type feeling. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with my upcoming trip around the world… I’m leaving in less than 3 weeks, will be gone for a year, and obviously, the stress level has been high. I know for sure my orb started showing up in pictures more recently, but it always does that when I’m in a time of stress or emotional happenings so that doesn’t surprise me. I’m really not sure about these shadow things though, and it concerns me because I always hear that shadow people are malevolent and scary (I know, I had a particularly angry one in my last house) but I don’t feel that way at all towards these.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what it could be? Or possibly I need to go in for an eye exam? Thanks.

I have been experiencing a presence that I have been referring to as the “tall man”. I wake in the middle of the night to a tall dark and hooded figure (reminds me of the grim reaper) standing next to my bed; most of the time he stands at the end of my bed. In my first few experiences with the tall man, he didn’t seem to even notice I was there. I sat up in my bed to take a closer look but I could only see his profile. He then slowly moved out of my room passing thru my door. Later experiences he is facing me, but I am still unable to see his face. Lately he has said things to me. Little things like that he needs something from me. Last night I witnessed him again and he was in my room for what seemed like an hour and he actually handed me a towel from my wall.

Now, I know that this all sounds a little weird and maybe unbelievable, which is exactly how I feel about it. I am an atheist and have never believed in anything supernatural. I am a captain in the US Army and I have always passed this off as a hallucination brought on by PTSD or some sort of stress. I have a couple of tattoos depicting the reaper and one of the Voodoo veve representing him. I thought that because of the nature of my job and the nature of my tattoos, the tall man could be a mental projection. Of course that is until last night when the tall man actually handed me a towel that was hanging on the other side of the room. This physical contact has me a little unnerved.

Does anyone have any idea what I could be dealing with? He hasn’t appeared violent or intimidating in anyway, but should I be concerned?

A few years ago whilst watching a film downstairs in my house with my mum, I for some reason looked over at the radiator and saw a shadow on the radiator walking slowly but it did not reflect on to the wall above the radiator.

I did not tell my mum because I was quite taken aback from what I saw and thought it was. A few seconds later my mum said how cold the room had gone which made me think that there was something in the room with us.I’m just wondering what this could have been out of interest. I have had other experiences of seeing a tissue move on its own with no window or door open near it and bright light shine from my window at night which has never happened again.

Hey, two nights ago I saw a hand shadow in my room by my bedroom door.

It said something in my right ear, am not quite sure what it said but am certain it sounded like a man and there was no one there!

This is something that has perplexed and fascinated me for some time. I have read a lot about the Shadows but nothing has ever come to light as to exactly what they are.

Anyone any ideas?
