My good friend and ex-lover died from a drug overdose 3 months ago.

Just this past month I’ve had strange feelings, he’ll pop in thoughts randomly then his Facebook will pop up in my notifications.

I’ll hear or see his name, I’ve felt compelled to visit where he lived, and did just pulled in the drive (nobody lives there his dad died 5 days prior) my friend got scared and backed out I looked up on the roof and saw a weird glow, light maybe? It could’ve been a reflection?

I was wondering if this all may mean hes trying to tell me something, or me just missing him I’m thinking about going back.

Hi there I recently moved into a house, the person who previously lived here passed, and I did know him. Before his funeral I was on edge, after the funeral I was at ease.

About a night or two ago, the on edge came back. Yesterday, 3 knocks on my door I already knew nobody was there as my door has a glass window. I wasn’t In the room alone and the other person (who was a close friend ) also heard the knocks.

Today as I was taking a nap in the room by myself, I felt a warm presence to the right of me and a voice say go to sleep. I’m fully aware there is something here, I just need a little insight on what to do, how to do it and if the presence is good or evil.

If a person dies, and their spirit doesn’t immediately move on to the spirit realm, does their spirit have to stay in the proximity where they lost their life, or can they relocate to a different place, such as their last home, a previous home, or the locations of other loved ones?

Is there any physical distance or barrier limitation to a spirit’s ability to move around? For instance, could a spirit travel a mile from the hospital where they died to go back to their house? Could they travel twenty-five miles to return home? Could they travel from a different country, even across an ocean, to relocate to their home?

And whatever the answer is for humans, does the same apply to animals, such as a pet dog or cat?

My boyfriend and I visited a medium and psychic about 3 months ago now and since being interested in these things we have had a number of experiences. Mainly seeing orbs and generally feeling quite positive they haven felt evil. But last night we both experienced something which is troubling us quite badly and I would really appreciate your time in reading my story and offering as much insight as possible.

Last night me and my boyfriend were asleep in bed. Around 3:30 I woke from a nightmare and I saw a large black figure (like a very large black cloak,) of about 7-8 ft standing against my bedroom wall in front of my bed by the window. I immediately hid under the cover and woke my boyfriend up. Whilst I went back to sleep my partner told me this morning that he remained awake for much of the night.

He noted that this figure proceeded to act as though it was looking for something in my room, rustling plastic bags, clothes etc. He said that the figure proceeded to move around the room and then he felt a strong tugging on at the bottom of our bed covers. He persistently tried to kick in an upwards motion to stop the tugging and he then heard this thing go under the bed towards he end where he felt someone touching his hair.

He eventually got to sleep at about 5am and I woke up telling him I’d had terrible nightmares of the big figure at the end of the bed and at one point in what I thought was a dream I was trying to call his name but could not speak. He said it wasn’t a dream as he see, felt and heard the figure moving around and rustling things.

This figure has no face but he noted that it did have long finger nails.

My partner, three years ago, experienced a black off face fly towards him in his bedroom (at another house) but other than that we have not experienced anything else.

I woke up feeling very tired in my body, as though I have been at the gym. My neck in particular, feels strained as though I have been lifting something heavy.

I have left my house to go stay at my boyfriends tonight but I’m keen to learn what this could be.

Is it at all normal for a human shaped ghost to manifest after a pet has died of natural causes in the home?

I’ll preface this question with a few details. First, we had four cats. Two have passed away of old age in the home without any sort of paranormal complications arising from the situation. Second, prior to this happening we used to joke about for years about a goblin in the house when things would either go missing or would seemingly fall for no reason.

Our last remaining cat finally passed away at the age of 23 of kidney failure. After she was gone, for 2 months afterwards we experienced a surge of activity related to her. We would hear her purring. We would see a glimpse of her passing us in the hall. We would think we would see her laying down somewhere. Then after that time it trickled to a stop and we didn’t have any more experiences.

What started happening afterwards was far scarier. We started hearing shuffling at night. It sounded like someone ruffling through our things. Then it progressed to someone walking around in our kitchen and living room area in the middle of the night. Checking never found anyone. A few months passed and my mother, who had owned the cat that passed away, woke one night to find a man standing over her bed. She said he was dark. Like he had been draped in shadows. He would stand there for hours, not quite looking at her. Then the noises during the day started. Things started moving out of the corner of our eyes. Then the whispers in our ears, like someone’s trying to get your attention. But nobody was ever there.

We finally, out of desperation, tried walking through the house with a stick of sage and a prayer. That seemed to to the trick for now. Though we still hear and see a few small things. But we’re moving in the next six months, so it doesn’t matter much.

So back to my question. Is it at all normal for a human shaped ghost to manifest after a beloved pet has passed away in the home? Is it just an opportunistic ghost? Or something else?

When I was little I was able to see “people” that weren’t there, as nobody else saw them. Now I find as I am driving I can see them on both sides of the highway, some are mirror-like meaning you can only notice them because they look exactly like the surroundings except it doesn’t match up. Others look like regular people except they are cloudy and you can see through them. They are always very busy doing what I do not know and never notice me.

Yesterday I was looking out of my sons window watching these people coming in and out of his house, and last night I saw one on the side of the road sleeping, and another just fly up into the air effortlessly.

I do not feel frightened, and I only tell a very few people, some believe me some do not. And I can also see animals as well.

I guess my question is, am I crazy?  Am I hallucinating?

Where did the spiritual entity go? Or will it return? / Man in trench coat, what does this mean?

Around the years 2009-present – Me and my family members have witnessed Paranormal “occurrences” first hand, and we believed our house to have a Spiritual Entity, Ghost, or whatever term you’d use.

One night we were awoken by the sound of someone walking up the stairs, it was so loud we believed it to be someone stomping loudly, my Grandmother walked down the stairs reading verses from a Bible. And every other event that happened after that has been subtle voices coming from empty rooms, doors closing, and loud creaks in the floor. Nothing too recent has come up, except for one thing that leaves me baffled, and confused. Nothing so far has been seen by the naked eye, by me and everyone else, except my grandmother.

She got up for work one morning, going outside onto our outdoor patio to have a cigarette, she said she was going about her quick cigarette break before finishing getting ready, when she noticed a man standing on-top of my Uncles house, who happens to be our neighbor. She described it as a dark figure wearing a long trench coat, coming back inside to get someone to look, the figure was gone.

Now we rarely got anything before this, and now nothing seems to be out of the ordinary around here, I also used to have a feeling of being watched constantly, and was terrified of being home alone, but those feelings seem to have faded.

Now for the ACTUAL question.

What “Exactly” was in our home? Will the spirit(s) return? And what has my Grandmother seen? And what does this mean?
