It makes so sick on my stomach.
Sometimes I get really hot and smell is very strong.

I have lived in four houses in my life, and in three of the four I have experienced some sort of strongly defined paranormal activity.
It began when I was around seven or eight and has continued up to this point (I am now a college student). It has varied wildly, from orb-like moving apparitions that continued for months when I was a child, to my most recent encounters with phantom smells and audio phenomena that have no visuals to them whatsoever.
Some of this phenomena has also been witnessed or experienced by other friends/family within the multiple locations, though a lot of it has only been seen by me.
Is there some logical reason behind why I’ve had such consistent, varied phenomena in my life?

On and off for over a year now I have been smelling cigarette smoke. But no one else can smell it. None of my family or friends smoke, and I’ve not been around smokers. I smell it where ever I go, anywhere in my house, at the shops, in the street. At times it gets very annoying as its constant and I don’t like smoking or being around smoke.
My nan passed away 15 years ago when I was 14 and we were close. She was a smoker. I’ve always liked to think that she is around me and looking out for me and my children.
Could this be spiritual? I don’t know what else to think or what it could be. I can smell it now as if someone is next to me who has been smoking, its quite strong, so far this time I’ve been smelling it for around 3 or 4 days. Last time it lasted probably 2 to 3 weeks.
Anything anyone can tell me or help with will be much appreciated.

Are horrible smelling entities regular spirits or the “D” word? Please help, I’m being terrorized by SOMETHING that feels negative! Horrific nightmares, scratches, nausea and fevers follow visits from the smell. I’ve armed myself with my rosary, holy water, prayers and even bought several Himalayan salt lamps.
Two nights ago it came in with a vengeance and as I was going through my ritual of flinging holy water and prayer this thing HOWLED!! I’m terrified!! I recently purchased white sage, the proper shell and feather to smudge my home (130yrs old), but I’m afraid of making things worse with my inexperience. The negativity in my usually peaceful, loving home and family is really taking it’s toll.
My husband, who recently verbally “told this thing off” is now being plagued with horrific, being drug to the depths of hell nightmares too, ones that I have a hard time waking him from, he was SCREAMING in his sleep and he was hard as a rock and stiff, needless to say, he believes me now!! I have so much more to tell you, but I’ll stop rambling for now as this is getting longer than just a question, for that, I apologize.
PLEASE HELP US, this is getting out of hand and also, let me just add this, that we were very interested in the paranormal at one time, going on ghost tours in the different cities we visited, going to cemeteries to take pictures etc… NEVER anything in our home, never a Ouija board, never palm readings etc….we collect antiques to fill this beautiful old house, but I didn’t recognize the smell as an entity right away so I can’t associate it with any particular item or life event. I initially thought the smell was something organic and I would find where and what it was, but now I KNOW it’s something else, please help!

Why do I smell my grandmother and Uncle? It happens often when I am having a bad day, or if I’m very depressed. No one in our house smokes and we have no near neighbors. Even my 6 year old has smelled the smoke.
My daughter also has been pointing and “talking” to something that I can not see lately. And today I think she called granny. It almost made me cry.
By the way, I lost granny and my uncle within 9 months of each other in 2012.

So, my house is very old, at least 100 years. We know for a fact that at least two people died in the bedrooms. A woman died in my husband and I’s room and her husband died in my mother-in-laws room. They never seem to be malevolent, but we have seen their figures and they each have a certain smell that follows them. We even took the cabinet doors off in our kitchen because they opened and closed all night. We haven’t had any sign from the woman in a long time so we think she has moved on, but the man is still here because we have seen him at the edge of our bed.
But over the last few days, I have been smelling a foul smell, but nobody else smelled it until yesterday. It smells like death or sewer. It comes and goes and moves through out the house. I am worried about it because it isn’t either of the two spirits we know reside.
In our house and the smell makes me think it might not be anything good, but nothing has happened yet, other than the normal knocks in the night.
Should I try speaking to it? I’m not sure what to do and I want it to know that we don’t have anything for it and that it should move on.

Hi, I now live in the house where I grew up. My mother an uncle smoked in the house all my childhood life. Now I often smell cigarette smoke early in the morning and at other times at this house.
No one smokes in this house now, and it has been totally remodeled.
What once was the back porch has been torn completely away and a bedroom added there. That is where I smell the smoke most of the time.
What does this mean?
