What makes a ‘Lighterworker’ a Lightworker and how do you become one?

I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, and coming from my ceiling above my bed, were a bunch of curly black ribbon looking designs.
I rubbed my eyes several times and it was still there. I made myself get up and use the restroom and when I came back it was gone.
What could that be?
Is it paranormal?
Should I be worried?
It scared me because of the fact that it was black and directly above my bed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly is “The Void”?

Hi Ama & everyone,
It’s me again. I’m fearing that every time I say out aloud “I miss you, grandpa”, I’m bounding his spirit to this plane (something I don’t really want to).
It’s been a constant for 2 months now, every 19th I can’t stop thinking about how much I miss him. That this December will be the first time I won’t have any more grandpas around (still have my two grandmas). That next year, on my & his birthday, he won’t be around.
He said goodbye in a beautiful way (gave me my first vision as I told you months ago) but it was too soon (the very next day after we buried him). I want to have another contact with him. I’m not sure if he’ll visit me in my dream because of him saying goodbye.
Am I hurting him every time I say these words? This is how it usually goes: “I miss you, grandpa. I hope you’re well and happy wherever you are. I want to know if your loved ones that already passed away are with you.”
Hope someone can help me.
Marina
PS: I tried to write down in a paper to dream about my maternal great-grandmother (whom I never met in my life since she passed away before I was born) and it didn’t work. Was that little fact (not spending time with her) the reason why it didn’t work?

My husband passed away 12 years ago but I still think tons of him. Anyhow not long ago I was going through some very difficult time and I went to bed crying and very sad. I fell to sleep and I had the most vivid dream I ever had.
I dream that I woke up and got out of my bed and walked to the kitchen and I saw Charles standing there smiling, he was in tee shirt, shots and barefooted just like when he was home and he didn’t looked sick at all, when I saw him I felt very happy and I asked what was he doing but he never spoke, he hugged me and it was so real and I said to him that I didn’t want to wake up because I wanted to be with him, as I said that I awoke in my bed and everything was dark but I felt like he had been here with me.
I went out of bed drank water and then went back to bead and as I was falling to sleep I felt like if someone sat on the side of my bed. I sat on the bed and it was gone. Then early in the morning it was a windy morning and I went to walk my dog as everyday but some revolving clouds caught my eye so I stood there watching and I saw this cloud forming in the shape of my husbands face. I even took a picture and since then I wonder if it really happened or I imagined all and the cloud was just a coincidence. 50 and 50 percent.
Thank you for reading

Just a few nights ago I heard a loud rapid knocking on my front door around 4am. My bedroom is on the second floor so I peaked out my window and didn’t see anyone. My parents bedroom is downstairs only a few feet away from the front door and didn’t hear a thing. I brushed it off and went to bed.
Few weeks later I heard 2 knocks on my bedroom door in the middle of the night…and not shortly after almost a week later and I hear 2 slow knocks on my bedroom again. I’m not afraid, and I didn’t think it’s the death knock or bad luck like the dream books say… But I’m not sure why I’m the only one hearing it and why it went from my front door downstairs to now my bedroom door upstairs.
My mom says it’s my grandpa visiting since we use to share my room when I was a kid and he was alive. She thinks because we are remodeling our entire house he just wants to visits to say he likes the remodel, it could be her just trying to make me feel safe, not sure why he would need to know since he is obviously always welcomed home. Kinda weird idk.
I’m scared because I often find myself waking up to someone talking to me while I’m sleeping… This happens a lot but not recently. The voices would sound like my parents but like I said we sleep on two different floors and my doors locked and closed.. As I wake the voices fade away. Sounds silly but the voice were having very deep and casual conversations with me.
Seems like when I start bringing these experiences up they stop for a while. Lived in this same house since I was 10 and honestly always had very interesting experiences in my room only.
Should I talk to a physchic/medium or a doctor? Or both?

First time posting bout anything like this, and I hope someone can help with it.
In May 2010 me and my partner and 2 kids moved to a house in Northern Ireland.
To me the house was old and Victorian.
One night me and my partner were woke up by a massive bang on our bedroom door and it instantly made us afraid. I mean the door nearly came off. After a while we got back to sleep but thought about it next day. Next night a loud bang this time inside the room bottom of the bed.
Bedside lamps blinking like mad.
Freaked out. This has happened to me as a child and I was petrified.
My partner worked night shifts and one night 3 weeks later the biological father or my partner kids committed suicide.
He called my partner to say he was going to do it and hung up.
At this point 1am loud bang on bedroom door light blinking and I rang my partner to say I’ve had it with this house. I was afraid.
At this point she shouted at me to say that she had her ex on the phone and didn’t need this shit at 1am while at work.
I apologised and went up to check on kids. I went in room and all was OK. Went into room next to lids and I saw the hall light brighten up so bright that it made the hall totally white/yellow and the light bulb blew out and I turbed around to face the hall. swear I saw the light decrease in intensity to a ball of light which just puffed out.
I was frozen with fear.
My mobile then rang and it was my partner and I was shouting what happened before she screamed that then kids Dad committed suicide 5 minutes ago !!!
Please could anyone help me with this. I know it sounds crazy but it truly happened.
Catholic priest came and admired the Victoria front door with the number 6 in old stained glass.
Blessed house but we moved
Still feel followed
Thanks All.

Hi all. I’m Samantha. This is my first post here. Though I’ve had many paranormal experience spanning my entire life, as a sensitive and mild psychic, there remains one experience that I have no idea how to classify. Searching for similar experiences on the net has been fruitless.
A few years back my girlfriend and I were driving down a quiet back road at two or three a.m., both wide awake and sober, when we experienced a phenomenon that baffled us. Out of the trendline to our right moved a wall of blackness directly into the road ahead. This was no shadow, as there were no light sources other than our headlights in the vicinity. It appeared to move out of the treeline with only one visible side. It continued as far as we could see to the right and into the heavens. The side which advanced into the road was as straight as a razor blade and the edge was clearly discernable. We both noticed the wall simultaneously. She began to scream as it appeared unavoidable that we were going to crash at approximately 60 mph into wall. I panicked and my heart stopped for a moment but I was able to swerve into the oncoming lane to avoid the wall before it blocked the entire road.
As we neared the wall what we saw was not possible to my knowledge. The headlights did not bounce off or reflect from the wall. They did not penetrate or illuminate anything. They simply disappeared. The wall itself didn’t appear to be in the normal spectrum. It wasn’t black but rather seemed to be the very absence of light. You could feel it, like standing on the edge of a precipice. Like to touch it or pass the plane would be to fall forever. Yet at the same time it seemed massive and humbling, like it was more dense and massive than the world itself. After passing it it did not appear in my rear view mirror. We turned around looking desperately for it, for an explanation, for evidence it was ever there. We returned during daylight, time and again trying to figure out what we saw and nothing. I’m at a loss.
I don’t know what I saw or if anyone else has experienced the like. I want to talk about it to see if anyone has ideas I’ve not thought of or similar experiences. I’ve seen spirits from a young age. I’ve had many paranormal experiences over the years and they seem normal and natural to me. But this is something that doesn’t fit. Doesn’t seem natural. I welcome discussion. Thank you

I am a 14 year old girl, and I have been hearing voices in my head since I was 8.
It all started when I was in my bed, about to go to sleep. I would hear little whispers, as if 4 or more people were in a room next to me, whispering quietly. It began to scare me because I wasn’t able to stop them like I would my own thoughts. I told my parents and they simply said it was part of my imagination, and I was probably just hearing things because I was scared. Over the years, it didn’t change very much. I would hear them once or twice a week, but I got used to it after a while, since they never did anything to hurt me.
But when I was 13, that’s when things got worse. I began to understand the words they were saying. They were simple things like ‘hello there’ or ‘are you listening?’ at first, but then they began to get more violent and repetitive later on. I told my parents again, and they took me to a psychologist after my third time telling them. I still see the psychologist now, but I’m not on medication anymore since it didn’t work and nothing seems to be helping.
Just a few weeks ago, I walked to school in the morning. I began hearing voices in my head whispering loudly. They were saying ‘pray for me. pray for me please pray for me’ over and over again. Ever since then, I’ve been thinking it’s something paranormal. They’ve been getting a lot worse, especially at night. What should I do?
