Confused For Real Dreams Is It Sleep Paralysis?

A few nights ago, I had this dream, where I was sleeping in my bed exactly the way I was (lying on my back) and from the corner of my eyes, from the left end of my bed, I saw a black figure, about 3 meter high (looked like a girl) and within seconds, it started growing, and I couldn’t move my head to the right to see what it was as if I had been paralyzed, all I could do was get up, which I did and opened my room’s door to run away (as I can reach my door’s handle from my bed) but a black mist came in from the door and I couldn’t see anything… now I thought it was really happening until I woke up, thank god!

These types of scary, ‘confused for real’ dreams, I have had previously as well so it’s not new to me, but what is it? Is this called sleep paralysis? Or is it something else? It’s really scary especially because the dream starts from my very room, and I’m usually in the same sleeping position, which again adds to the panic!

Creepy Eerie Place Was It Evil Spirits Or Something?

About 10 years ago I had to go to the dentist for a new denture, and the dentist’s office was in a small town in the mountains of Utah where there was a history of coal mining going back for over 100 years. My son-in-law was with me and after the dentist made the impressions he said to come back in about 5 hours to get my new denture.

In the meantime we drove up into the hills driving around just to kill time. We came upon this really weird looking place, it was a huge building built into a mound of dirt, it looked like it had been abandoned for years. I’m not sure even what it was, there were some windows and a balcony about 30 feet from the ground, and the whole thing was covered with dirt. The minute we got close to it, we both had this eerie feeling that something didn’t want us there. There were no birds chirping or anything, it was silent as a grave.

We looked in one window that we could get to and saw a hallway with some side rooms apparently someone had lived there at one time. All the time we were there we both had the feeling we were being watched by something that didn’t want us there. We were kind of creeped out, so we didn’t stay there long. The place felt like something evil was lurking in the area.

I always wondered it it was evil spirits or something like that.

Starting in 1993, Eugene H. Peterson started publishing The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language. He did this in an attempt to bring the Bible to “updated concepts in modern English”.

I have been quoted scripture from The Message lately, and I have to say that I’m at a loss.. and not much of a fan… so I figured I’d see what my pals at ParanormalQ&A thought about The Message:

My questions:

1) Have you read scripture from The Message?

2) Do you believe it conveys a similar message as the other translations/versions?

3) Do you have any general comments regarding “idiom translations” when it comes to sacred texts?

The First Ghost I Ever Saw

I can remember an old tramp’s face at the window of my bedroom. The problem was, right outside my window was a rather long wide pond (right up next to the house) that my mother had put there many years before. I was about eight years old at the time, and I Knew no one could be standing close enough to the window to have their face appear the way it did, and then duck down. I got into the habit of closing my curtains before nightfall, just so I wouldn’t have to see whomever was looking in.

The first time it happened I told my parents (the next morning) and mum and I went and looked, but there was no sign of an intruder, and no easy way to get to that side of the house, because the whole area was bushy and overgrown.

What is your first memory of being haunted by ‘something’ or ‘someone’?

What Does Satan Have Against Humans at Present?

What does Satan have against humans at present? How he can mislead or deceive a human? Does he speak to man? So why human is not able to hear his voice or notice his ordering and motivation? Also if someone does a guilt due to Satan’s motivation, who is responsible about lord? Satan or that guilty human?

More Orbs!

Hi All. I took some photos in a UK wood a month or so ago of a very strange area I saw. A perfect circle of dirt around a tree. The wood is small ish and owned by friends who live there so the area could have not have been caused by people. Anyway I decided to take some photos of it and even though I cleaned lens and moved I kept getting orb type things on picture.

I sent pics to a friend to look at, sadly she was unwell and couldn’t tell me anything. I would love to send them to others to see what they think. Some people think animals caused dirt area (I work in woods and have never seen anything like it), mum thinks its something unexplained.. Love to hear ideas..

Hi

Enclosed are the promised orb photos..

I took the picture in a friends wood, it was the circle of bare earth that interested me. I live and work in woodlands and have never seen anything like it before. It definitely wasn’t done by people, it’s a small wood, and my friends live in a caravan just around the corner so they would have seen anyone in the wood.

I also got a really strong feeling I shouldn’t be there. Heavy sad feeling in the air.

Anyway, I took the pictures of the earth patch, noticed orb after first pic, so cleaned lense and moved, same thing, cleaned again and moved.

I also took other pictures either side of the orb pics that where fine. Just when I pictured the earth patch.
