Paranormal Q&AI often see the number 666 as a response to paranormal investigators.
It is my understanding from biblical scholars that 666 is a numerical code referring to the emperor Nero. As I have a hard time believing Nero is spending his afterlife at say, a bar in brooklyn, is this response really the devil (which I also find unlikely) or a spirit attempting to disturb an investigator?

I live in a small house with my mum, we moved in around 3 years ago. The other night I went to bed early to start a new schedule of waking up at 6:30 am and going to the gym before work. All went well and I got a good sleep, I woke up once at around 4 am to get a drink but quickly fell back asleep. The next thing I know is that I was laying on my side facing the wall, and I feel 3 very distinct taps on the back of my neck, at first I ignored it, but when I didn’t react I got faster non-stop tapping that started at my neck and moved down my spine.
At this point I felt conscious but I also felt like I was dreaming, I then heard a soothing and caring voice say “Blake, it’s 6:30, you’ve got to wake up”. I turned around and I got embraced by a figure, so I hugged them back, at this point I felt very calm, warm and relaxed. As I hugged the figure, it felt as if my arm was actually around someone, so I asked them, “how is this possible?” and they just responded with, “I don’t know, but you need to wake up”. So I moved the cover quickly off of me, and as if they didn’t want to be seen, they dashed under the cover into the darkness, and I briefly remember seeing a skinny lady with long, blonde hair, then I woke up, exactly as my alarm went off at 6:30. At no time did I feel scared, it was like I knew them and felt comfortable with them.
This is my first experience like this, I spoke to my mum about it and she said I almost described my Aunty who passed when I was young. Experiences exactly like this have happened to my mum 3 times since we moved into this house, except they never spoke to her like they did me, they just tapped her and she woke up.
What do you make of this?
I should also mention that my mum and I encounter strange situations all the time where we’ll think something and then it happens, or we’ll go to message someone (or each other) and they’ll be messaging us at the same time. Just stuff like that.

I need a second opinion.
A few months ago my daughter and I moved into a new building which has 3 floors.
When I moved in things started happening slowly and then escalate.
Scratches on my arms and on my daughter, banging on my door, the chain lock being ripped off of my front door, stomping in my living room in the middle of the night and much more.
Our family have all been connected to the spiritual world most of our lives however nothing like this has happened to any of us.
My mother and I tried a home cleansing ourselves holy water, sage and other tools of protection however it seemed to only get worse and follow my daughter and I wherever we went even if the places we went to were shielded to protect.
I enlisted the help of a coven who came to my home and cleansed the house and put a protection no evil or bad may enter.
I must say this did work and I also feel safe and powerful in my home.
Here is my problem now;
Over the past few weeks I have been woken up from my sleep at exactly 3:12am.
Every night to hear noises above me as in the apartment above me.
Always banging, stomping, running etc. They are a single couple with no kids or animals. Then last night I fell asleep on the couch to be awakened at the same time to noises coming from the hallway as if someone was running aggressively towards my door but could not enter. It seems as if this entity is obsessed with causing harm to me and my daughter but cannot pass my door.
I am at a stand still because it cannot pass but is still affecting me at the same time every night. I am tired and a bit worried it may break the barriers if whatever this is gains strength.
Please give any advice or thoughts on this.
This is my home and I will not leave.

So I’ve been seeing shadow people for the past couple months.
It started I would only see them during my sleep paralysis but then I began seeing them when I’d lay awake in bed at night.
Everything I’ve looked up about shadow people says they go away when you notice them, however these ones just continue to stand there and stare at me. For months I acknowledged them but didn’t believe they were real, I thought it was all in my head. But recently I was spending the night at my boyfriends house and he nudged me and asked me if it looked like there was people standing in our windows.
I had already noticed them but I ignored it like always because I assumed they weren’t real and it was in my head.
BUT NOW HE SEES THEM TOO.
They just stood in our bedroom windows and watched us. Knowing they’re real, now they scare me much worse. Now that we’ve noticed them, there’s been more. There’s 6 or 7 different shadow people I’ve noticed at his house and he told me he only sees them when I’m there. If I’m not there, they’re not there. I see them everywhere I go, standing in the darkness, watching me.
The other night, we were sound asleep in bed and I woke up around 2-3 in the morning and I could see them.
They’ve moved, they’ll stand in the kitchen hallway or in our bathroom door way or hide in our closet.
Then something terrifying happened, my boyfriend in a dead sleep turned towards me and said “Are you scared now?” I had a panic attack. and When I get upset, they become more noticeable.
They move and get closer to us. It’s like they feed off the negative feeling.
What do they want? How do I get them to go away?
Everything I’ve read said they should go away when you notice them. We noticed them but they don’t go away. They just keep staring, watching, getting closer.
They’re far worse at his house and I think it’s because we’re both very emotional people and they thrive off it. It’s bad when I’m alone at my house too but they keep there distance and there’s only two. But at his house they’re getting closer and there’s so many. They follow me and I don’t know why.
I need answers. I’m terrified to sleep.

My cousin and his brother came over for a late Christmas gathering. After we exchanged presents (I have made pillows for my family) and I had asked for my uncle to take everyone’s picture of me and the family and their pillows.
There’s one photo that he had sent me, that had my eyes glowing white. But I wasn’t the only one, it was also my younger cousin. I found it Ironically strange that him and I were the only ones who had glowing eyes in the photos.
I have done some researching and it says this and that but I believe it’s something paranormal cause 2 days after that my cousin and I experienced something really nerve shaking like nothing will no one believe. Not even my own grandparents believe, even if my cousin and I told her.
My cousin doesn’t see what I see, from my side but I totally understand his. He’s 14, I don’t think he will quite understand. Not trying to bring him down cause he’s like a brother to me and I’m very protective of him but what I’ve witnessed was a little bit more chilling–goosebumps type of stuff. A moment I will Never forget.

Okay, so I’ve been having some strange things happen lately and I can’t tell what is causing them.
One: I am currently looking after brother’s cat as well as my own, and in the middle of the night they will just start growing and hissing at nothing (not creepy at all!)
Two: every morning when I wake up there is a tiny piece of glass by my bed, exactly where I stand up every morning. I’ve tried getting up on another side of the bed, sweeping, vacuuming, I thoroughly searched every inch of my room for glass to no avail, but another single shard of glass always sticks into my foot as soon as I get up.
This is starting to scare me, because as far as I can remember, I’ve never broken anything made of clear glass in my room before.
Please, if you can suggest some possibility, do so.

Do Ghosts see in color? or only in black and white?
As light ray’s would pass through ghosts as they do not have a physical body (and thus no physical eyes) this means that light would pass through their eyes as well, then how would it be possible for them to see in color?

It’s been two months now, I had started to see shadows from corner of my eyes frequently. At first there were just sounds around me (more when I’m in my room), like sounds of floor cracking, my bed cracking like when someone sits on it. After those sounds, pens started to roll at me when there was no source that can cause the movement. I was and just sitting at my desk and all the sudden a pen rolled toward me, there I believed there is a spirit.
I was just walking in my house I saw a red cloth floating in other side of my living room I stare at it for two second, I thought it my brother, because he always plays there, I ask if my brother is home and the answer was no.
The sounds happened more often, and things like kitchen hood light, turning on and off by it self when I was around it.
Last night I woke up 4 am from a loud sound from other side of my room, a sound like popping a small balloon, first I thought it’s nothing. I closed my eyes and the same sound happened again.
This morning I can feel that this spirit goes where ever I go in my house, because things around me start moving, even when I’m looking in a direction something in that direction moves for split of second, light things like paper, obviously the spirit wants me to notice him/her.
How can I know what the spirit wants? and how can I help him?
I’m not afraid of ghosts but I prefer a way that is risk free.
All in all, what should I do?

In my waking life I have a property that was gifted to me by a friend.
In my dream an elderly white haired man, he was brittle face but cleanly dressed in a hat and tweeted suit came to view my property. In the dream there was another person there that I knew like a friend that owned the property before. We took the elderly man around to look at the property on viewing he was complaining in in the dream that the ceiling decoratoration was to white. The property had been newly decorated. The person with said that’s the way we painted it and it could not be changed. Then I found outside on top of the the building we the elderly man was making a lot of people laugh.
We then went back into the property where I asked if the property was for himself or someone else he said himself. He then proceeded to bring out a wade of monies from his pocket for immediate payment of rent. I was not comfortable taking the money from him as I would have preferred he goes through my appointed agency for all the necessary checks. He however forced the monies into my left hand.
I asked he hold on while I consultants with my friends that was with me.
I asked my friend what he thought. He said the old man seemed okay. I said I would be more comfortable the man went through my agency as I had no references of anything to go by. My friend said it’s most unlikely the old man would want to go through the agency route as he would have enough monies to pay the agency fee.
Was till trying to make a decision that’s when I awoke from my dream.
In my waking life my registry papers have not yet gone through so I’m not yet ready to sublet the property do you think the dream is a warning. Kindly help to interpret.
