My boyfriend and I were happily dating, until the other day.
He blindsided me with a breakup that was purely based on the supernatural.
He said I had negative energy or something, and there was a spirit attached to me that was starting to attach to him.
He then said if we stayed together romantically, the spirit would make him develop schizophrenia.
Is this possible, should I be worried I’ve done something awful?

I don’t think you have done anything awful.
If the spirit is attached to anyone, its probably him. Do you feel any symptoms of an energy attachment .. such as hearing voices in your mind that tell you very negative things, that are not your own voice; feeling constantly drained of energy; emotional confusion or sudden and intense changes of mood, e.g. happy to suicidal, peaceful to fiercely angry? My next question would have to be, how did the man know you were wearing that sort of energy .. who told him?

I don’t feel any of the symptoms you have described. His older sister (and he’s now learned he is also one) is an empath or spiritual healer. She visits a spiritual counselor, who told her all this.

Every person, except sociopaths and psychopaths, is empathic to some degree. It means we can feel and/or sympathise or empathise with other people’s emotions. It also means that people can feel overwhelmed by emotion, without a good reason, not understanding that it has come from one or more people around them, as if the receiver was a sponge soaking it up.
As to whether the person is a spiritual healer, or should be, is a very different question. Too often that title is handed out by self-titled spiritual counselors who do not consider the repercussions of their words or actions. But just in case there is something around you that is upsetting your ex and his family, I would suggest that you scroll to the bottom of this webpage and follow the link through to the Michael Invocation and use it to clear your energy. No harm taking precautions, which, if there is something, will be for your own benefit. Then the man’s family can’t blame you if he continues to feel what he is feeling. You could also suggest he use the Invocation for himself, if you continue to have contact. Otherwise, open your life to a new boyfriend.

Thank you so much for all your help! I have another question on this, though. Is it really possible for a spirit to give a person with NO past record of a mental illness (like schizophrenia) some sort of way to develop it? That is the only reason he claims to have left: he would rather stay sane than be with me. (Which is reasonable, obviously, but I just want answers!)

A person can hear voices. I hear voices because I have a gift called ‘clairaudience’ (which means ‘clear hearing’) and some are wonderful beings, like angels and spirits, and others are ghosts and other entities, that have spoken to me over the last 50+ years have been dangerous, angry, insane and toxic .. but I know how to tell the difference between my own thoughts and what is being ‘said’ to me by other entities.
Some schizophrenics have this gift without being aware of it, and when they learn how to protect their energy and close the voices off they stop suffering from the experience, but other people cannot turn the voices off, or have voices created within their own minds .. and they are classed as being mentally ill. Schizophrenia is a mental illness, but it can’t be ‘given’ to a person by a ghost or other nasty entity, they must already have the capacity to hear the unseen. The ghost then drive them insane, if the person has a weak mind and allows it to happen.
