I am starting to experience weird activity in my house

So I live in a house built in 1925 we’re many people have lived. No one has died in the house but the other people that lived here are all dead now. One person that lived here was actually raped and murdered but not in the house.

I have lived here all of my life and never really experienced anything out of the ordinary. I know my parents have experienced things such as feeling the bed go down when no one’s there, hearing boxes being moved up on the second floor when no one else is in the house,feeling a hand on the shoulder, and hearing things like people crawling on the floor when no one’s there. But this was when I was really young and before I was born.

They said my mom and grandma went around the house with holy water and blessed it and every thing seemed to stop. But recently I have been experiencing things. It started when I was in my living room a few weeks ago studying and doing homework really late like 3 or 4. And I decided to sleep in there so i could wake up faster to drive to school. While I was trying to sleep I started to feel really cold and uneasy. I just pushed it aside thinking I was just over tired. Eventually I did fall asleep but I woke up like a half hour later because of some really weird and bad dreams. I still felt uneasy and went to look over at my laptop for the time. When I did I saw it open by itself very slow like but at a consistent speed till it was half open. I was stunned for a few seconds and then just ran back to my bedroom.

Another thing that’s happened was last week I was using the bathroom late at night and I heard creaking outside the door like one of my family members was waiting outside to use it. So I finished up expecting to see some one out there but when I opened the door but there was no one. And I know they just didn’t go back to bed because the time from me hearing it till opening the door was probably around 5 seconds. So I peeked in some rooms and everyone was dead asleep. After that I just felt really uneasy and went back to bed.

And just today right now I was in my basement playing an online video game with friends and I felt the urge to look behind me. So I did and saw the weight I had on the table roll by itself and crash to the floor. I know it just didn’t roll off, because it’s been there 3 days it weighs 50 pounds and it looked like it someone pushed it off because it was more of thrown off then rolled.

Has anyone had similar experiences or know what I should do.

Sometimes I see writing like newspaper headlines when my eyes are closed.

These are not any writings I have ever seen. Once it appeared as if a definition in the dictionary. It was for a New Zealand word from one of the tribes.

All my life I’ve been interested in the paranormal stuff. I believed there is more than the eye can see. And I believed because I felt it.

To my recent discovery my mom has told me that a few years ago a psychic woman came to our house not knowing anything about us. According to my mom as soon as she entered our house she stopped and said: Do you know you’re eldest son is paranormally gifted? She offered to help me learn and deal with this gift and even how to strengthen it but sadly my mom declined the offer because at that age 17-19 I was still too scared of all the explainable stuff.

Some of the things I experienced are (unexplained noises footsteps / ectoplasm mist / unexplained wind in a closed room / coldspots)

Im a skeptic so when these things happen i thoroughly investigate. I try to mimic certain noises or things that happen and most of the time I couldn’t find a decent explanation.

My mom told me about the psychic woman 3 months ago and since then I’ve been trying to open up more for it with some success. I even tried to contact this woman but sadly she is dead.

Now I feel restless because I want to explore this ‘gift’. I don’t even know what gift I have that’s also a problem. I don’t know where to start and I don’t want to do anything reckless such as rituals or magick. Which I am certainly will be able to pull off. But I’m not going to walk that road without knowing how to protect myself.I am in need an experienced guide who has walked this path and developed his or her gift.

Hello. I have been under a lot of stress, and found the Arch Angel Michael Invocation which I performed in my home.

I became very emotional as I was saying the words out loud, and struggled to finish the text, but did so through tears.

Once finished I started sobbing and kept thinking the phrase, “I am so sorry but you have to go.” I found it distressing to get through the invocation, but on some level I knew I had to.

Now I feel really lost… and sad.

Have I done something wrong please??

Hello there, I’m Julia and I’m Italian (sorry in advance for the bad grammar).

I’m 32 and my entire life I felt like being protected or bonded to something, it’s just my guts. A little background info on my childhood:

When I was around 7 my family and I were moving to another house. While removing my bed, my mom noticed a bunch of red hair put together in a red string under my mattress and asked me what it was. I had no clue, and since we are all blonde in the family it felt strange. My mom anyway trow away the hair and don’t think about it. Little time later I began experiencing strange things. At night, almost every night, I felt like someone was sitting on the bad while I was asleep, but always wake up when happens. The first time it occurred i asked my mom and my dad if they on my bed last night and they told me they didn’t. So when happened again many as many times I was scared to death since i knew it wasn’t my parents and never dared to look who it was.

Then one morning I woke up just to see a hand waving at me from the side of my pillow, scared to death I run to my parents bed crying and they didn’t believed me of course.

The times passed by and while I get older I started practicing black magic. My instinct told me I had the ability to master magic and dark forces. And so it was. I was brilliant in curses and divination, when I read hand or tarots I had vision of the past of the person I was reading and never fail. I was 18 and the people I read were impressed and terrified at the same time. I felt like I had a gift, so i started digging in demonology and studying demons. I was particularly fascinated whit asmodeus and belial, but things got scary after trying some summoning so I quit everything 2 years after. The thing the scariest me the most was that for 1 week every night the sound of an owl appeared in my room. Every single night. Even my parent heared and never been able to understand what the hell it was. I consulted with a priestess and she told me it was Lilith warning me, and it scared the shi* out of me.

I quit magic and throw away any single book or item related to magic.

In the meantime i changed sex from men to women (long looong story) and at 22 I started living as a regular woman, doing a regular job and being engaged to an amazing man although having this feeling in my guts of something watching over me. I did some very messed up thing in my life but always being unermed. Like something or someone protecting me.

Then 2 years ago something changed. Everything fell apart. I began being addicted to oxycodone, broke up with my fiancée and my dad died. All in the lapse of 2 years.

During the last year every night, before I fall asleep, I felt this strong strong presence in the room. Literally something watching. Then the sleep paralisys began. Almost 3 per week. Initially scared I began searching things up and found how sleep paralysis could be used to out of body experiences. So I began to not being scared and after some time I learned how to get my soul out of my body. Right now I’m able to get out of my body almost every nignt. Also before fall asleep I heard voices in my head. Like hearing someone talking, and be able to see in my mind places I never been. I don’t know how to explain that, but searching it I found it could be remote wieving. I don’t know.

I do know however that a demon can talk to you by telepathy. And when I ask “who are you?” Or “are u here for me?” Almost immediately he or she answer trough my toughs with things like “everything s gonna be fine Julia” or “I’m here for you”

I don’t know if I have a gift or some entity around me, fact is that the background of my family let me suspicious. My mom used to be a nun. She left church when she was 30 and started dating. She aborted her first child 2 years after leaving the curch and then had me whit my dad. They gave me the second name Maria, In Italian for the Virgin Mary. Then I changed sex. And I was thinking…all these sins, the fact that my mom was a nun,, my sex change and stuff against gods will, may have attracted a demon? Wha is was that hair under my bed? I’m a demonically influences? I feel very very attracted to the dark side, I’ve always been. Always fascinated about how lucifer fell and why he fell. Fascinated with death and violence, always had a morbid curiosity about everything dark and evil. I’m a psyco? Lol. Any suggestions or idea are really appreciated because I don’t know if all these thing are coincidence or have any meaning.

Does it mean anything specific when a family member visits you after their death?

My grandpa passed away 11 years ago and we have moved several times since. Today, my younger sister found keys laying in her door way. She had never seen them before so she brought them to my Grandma. She didn’t recognize the keys at first but upon looking them over she realized they had the logo from her husbands company on them. They were the keys he kept to his desk at work.

No one in the house had seen the keys for years up until today. When she found the keys, only my grandma and younger sister were home and they were both in their rooms.

Is this something spirits do often when visiting their families?

I have had experience with the paranormal ever since I was little and fully believe in the spirit world.

I am just curious because I had a spiritual experience when I was six years old and could see and talk to spirits, but haven’t in a while please give me some advice.

Recurring colorful “parade” of people from woods to lake :: Who are they?

During the summer and winter months from 1975-1979, I lived near the base of the Pyramid Point Dunes, part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Several times each season, I would wake to see a large band of people emerge from the woods. I was a child at the time.

The same elements were present with each recurring visit. I would wake up in the middle of the night to a very bright light shining through my window at the foot of the bed. There would also be a strong, damp woody smell. I’ve been trying to recreate it since, and it’s close to a combination of pine, pete, tamarack, and cedar. I was hit with the scent one other time while in the Adirondacks.

The bright light and smell meant they were coming soon. I was always excited — nervous/anxious but never scared. I would crawl to the foot of the bed and lean on the sill, watching the edge of the woods.

Soon, a long line of people (all ages) would come out of the woods. They were very happy; some were singing and laughing; others were dancing; the rest were simply smiling and walking. They would head straight toward my window, waving at me and motioning to come out and join them. I never questioned if they saw me. They all saw me.

Once each person reached my window, they would turn and walk up the three small steps below and march across the deck that lined the front of the cottage. At the end of the deck, they would walk down the other steps, turn, and head to the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.

The people in this “parade” were made of brightly colored, geometric shapes. They were like three dimensional screen prints or woodcuts, but they looked very human, not cartoonish.

This area is considered to be sacred land with a strong Native history. It is also in line with the Manitou Passage and several sunken ships; some call it the freshwater Bermuda Triangle. Near the property, a family member once found the remains of an underground house used to shelter a handful of shipwreck survivors who made it to land during the winter.

I would love to hear thoughts from anyone who has a theory, similar experience, knowledge of area folklore, etc.
