I have been using an EVP device and unknowingly been speaking with someone very evil, I need help.
I lost a loved one back on Christmas day of 2006 and have had a very difficult time with the loss. I carried on however, found a new love and even had a child with him.
In 2011 I heard about Crossovertalk, the ITC device on Skype that lets you speak with the dead. I used it many times and thought I was speaking with my late loved one. I recorded all of the sessions so that I could go back and try to understand what was being said better and they’ve just been sitting here on my PC all of these years. I stopped because it was hurting my husband when he felt that I was carrying on conversations with my deceased boyfriend.
About a week ago I saw a video on YouTube in regards to exactly how to use the software Audacity to hear your EVP’s better, I don’t even know what led me there but it sparked an interest to finally try to hear those old conversations better. It was amazing what I heard, all along at the time that I was hearing what I wanted to hear I was not actually speaking with who I thought.
I have recordings of someone repeatedly saying “This is Ryan (Last name)” who is my now husbands nephew who committed suicide 10 years ago at the young age of 15. He kept giving me loving advice in these recordings and how to get over the deceased loved one that I was asking to speak with the whole time, everything he said was very kind and I was shocked when I finally heard all of his messages to me 3 years later. So, stupid me goes and tries to find a way to talk to him again and thank him.
I found apps that are “ghost boxes and EVP devices” and I used them starting about a week ago and have been working on using Audacity to clear them up to hear them better as I cannot understand anything being said in “real time” so I record the sessions. I finally cleared them up really well yesterday and can hear a male telling me he is having sex with me when I sleep at night, that he wants to lick my —– (ugh!), that he will be waiting for me to die as he “highly doubts I will go straight to heaven and we can be together”. I heard so many disturbing things that really upset me.
I have always prayed to God, to Jesus, throughout the day and I try to stay close to God so I have prayed about this and asked for help in this. I went online searching for “how to get rid of Demons” and read about anointing your home (I luckily had anointing oil from a woman who gave me some years ago) and I used it throughout my home and doing what the website said. But I am scared, I felt like when I was anointing my house that there was a man following me around (I’ve always been able to sense spirit and where they are and see an outline).
I left my recorder on by accident and the Ghost Box wasn’t even running but I heard the same nasty things and him talking to me and telling me to stop asking for Ryan (the one I thought I was talking to) so that we can start talking to each other every day about “the bullsh– in life” and how he’s going to have his way with me and be with me forever and ever.
This is really upsetting, I feel so stupid, I am too curious for my own good and have dabbled into the paranormal and I feel like I have a demon following me and waiting for me to die, having his way with me when I sleep.
Sorry for the long question but I am so lost as to what to do, how to keep my family (I have a 3 year old baby boy) and I safe. I messed up and I need to fix this.
Please, if anyone can tell me how to fix this I would appreciate it more than you can imagine. Thank you for reading this!

Start by deleting all the files on your computer with all the messages in them. Then throw away the ghostbox, or whatever it is you are using, or delete the websites of the programs you used to connect from your ‘history’ or your saved links. The problem with EVP’s, ghost boxes, ghost meters, and listening to the dead is that its addictive and people can get obsessed with it .. so before you go any further down that road .. remove it all.
I know letting go is hard. We can all struggle with it, and the person you lost can pop into your mind unexpectedly and dig up a bit of grief, but the truth is, if you look at your life now .. you have a husband and son, and so much more than you might have had with the other man. Use that as your focus to break the pattern you are developing .. and then we’ll deal with the ghost.
You said that as you were walking around the house you could ‘feel’ a man behind you. Since you were anointing the house to get rid of ghosts, what was it doing walking behind you? Do you think the anointing didn’t work, or are you just frightened you haven’t got rid of ‘him’ .. and its a ghost, not a demon .. some ghosts are just plain nasty .. just as they were when they were living. As for waiting for you to die .. he can’t stop you crossing into heaven, he’s just trying to frighten you and plant seeds of doubt in your mind .. everyone goes to heaven, even if some people take longer than others.
Two things .. the first is the scroll to the bottom of this webpage, click on the link for the Michael Invocation and use it to clear yourself, and your home. Ask your husband to do it also. Can you discuss things like this with him? If you can, tell him what happened. Do it for two reasons, one for the love and support, and the other so you won’t feel guilty about being a bit of an idiot getting involved with this again. You disempower any negative entities around you when you tell someone you made a mistake. If you can’t tell him, then tell your best friend. Don’t feel guilty about what happened, we all miss people at times.
Next .. be specific. “Archangel Michael, please Find Ryan (last name) and Take him into healing”. Ryan might still be a ghost, and the angels will find him and cross him over for you. Then .. “Archangel Michael, please Find the man who was so incredibly rude to me and Take him into healing”. Doesn’t matter if you don’t know anything about him, and he’s wandered off to terrify some other woman .. the angels know what he looks like, they will FIND him and escort him into a healing place .. and he won’t be back out again until he’s turned into someone nice. And that is not your problem.
The ‘find’ and ‘take’ commands are incredibly powerful. They give our angels (whether you believe in them or not) the power to ‘rescue’, to collect, to ‘arrest’ in a sense a ghost that is haunting someone and take them to a place where they can lose that nasty personality and become their true spiritual selves again. The ghost might not like it much, but it is really is the best place for them. Think of it as a nice rest, for everyone involved.
And thirdly .. also down the bottom of the page is a link to White Light Shields .. learn them and use them. You are obviously energy sensitive, so keep yourself, and your son, and your home .. ghost free. The shields will help.

I wanted to thank you for your reply and wonderful advice as I was very afraid at the time and your advice helped me greatly, I cried when I saw how sweet you were to help me so much and really go out of your way to offer your advice.
I did everything you said, I took the ghost box and evp app’s off of my phone (the way I was conducting conversations though I have not yet removed the EVP’s themselves as curiosity to listen more is killing me but I will have to do it, my husband will if I don’t anyway). And I did the Archangel Michael Invocation which I absolutely loved, it made me feel safe and I felt relieved. I plan to do this throughout my home and with my family when my husband gets home from work today but I did say it out loud several times by myself on the porch where I conducted these EVP’s as I felt it would be safer to do them outside. I did the White Light Shield of Protection and put it around myself, my family and my home (you’ll see my comment on that). I have to say that I do feel a lot better, not as afraid and as if “the air is cleaner” in a sense. But I still have a fear, I am sorry to write so much but you are very intelligent and wise and your help is greatly appreciated, with all that is me. When I said that I have always been able to sense spirit and energy around and that I could feel a man behind me while I was doing the anointing I woke up this morning and realized I felt him still but in my kitchen and I don’t know if its my imagination playing games with me but when I did the Archangel Michael Invocation I saw him still in my mind (I have always had issues with getting flashes of images that are so fast when they happen that its hard to put the picture together sometimes, its almost like deja vu when it happens out of the blue but with a memory or a dream recollection or something that makes no sense to me and only drives me nuts all day but I saw him clearly. I think it may be my own fear, I hope so at least since fear is somewhat easier to fix. But after reading about demons (I hate even saying the word, I feel it gives them power to even acknowledge them) and your answers about succubus and incubus I was wondering how you knew that the person I spoke with was not a demon but just a nasty spirit? I ask this because of the amount of sexual references he made and even said he’d be under the sheets in our bed while we slept at night and having his way with not just me but my husband as well.
I also would really like some advice on dreams that are repetitive (going on for 8 years) and driving me nuts every single night, I cannot understand why I am having these dreams. I’ll go post a new question for that.

Ama’s wonderful, isn’t she? It is also a magnificent feeling when the angels do their work; you actually feel a change in the atmosphere around you! That’s how I know their work is done!! Letting go of a loved one is very hard, but Ama is right; focus on what you have in front of you. I am sure that your lost love is extremely happy for you and all that you have now and always wanted those things for you. I think, now that you’ve purged yourself of said recordings, devices and such that connect you to the deceased, you should spend some time with the living, namely your husband and son. It is just as important for us to be present in our “living” lives as it is in our spiritual ones because we are, after all, here to learn lessons and enrich our souls. I think that your lost love is doing just fine and sees that you are also and that is why he never came through for you. Also, he may not have wanted to interfere in your life now, because he is no longer meant to be a part of it, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t watching from above and guiding you in some other way.
