I had a family member die in action in the Korea in 1950. And I was born in 1997. But from what I can remember I have seen him at least 2 times. Once when I was in I think 2nd grade and another when I was in 7th grade. But I don’t know why he would be coming to me.
I’m not even sure if it was him I just saw a picture of him from when he was in war and it looked like it might of been him.
So does anyone have any idea why he would still be here and coming to me or how I could try to get contact with him soon?

How old are you now and when was the last time you saw him? It doesn’t sound like he’s hanging around, instead he could have been ‘just visiting’ his family, and you are the only one capable of actually seeing him .. although whomever he is related to by blood might have also seen him (mum, dad, your grandparents etc) without telling you about it.
What happened when you did see him?
And then there’s the possibility that it was just an ordinary ghost who ‘looked’ similar to the man you saw in the photo, as ghosts do come and go. Hopefully someone found him and crossed him into heaven, if he was a lost soul.
