Am I Cursed With Misfortune?

I seem to have a series of not so lucky things happening to me and people around me. I don’t know if I am cursed or what. Its always from one misfortune to another though I choose to overlook it but it seems not to stop.

Is there anything I should do to reverse it?

Hello Chinelo

A curse only works if a person 1) knows about it (someone tells them its been done to them) and 2) believes in it.

Our minds can take one or two small incidents and create a belief ‘I think I am unlucky’, which we then apply to all our actions, and make ourselves unlucky .. in other words, we can curse ourselves.

What ‘not so lucky’ things are happening to you at the moment? And how does that affect the people around you? Luck is specific to the person experiencing it ..

In the meantime, scroll to the bottom of this page, find the link to the Michael Invocation and read the page and say the Invocation .. it has a component in it about removing curses.

Thank you Ama,I lost my dad after I thought that he is better and next my mom becomes terribly sick even when the doctors still could not really say that this is what is wrong with her. Then my work isn’t moving on fine there by making it really hard to cater for her. Why I think its affecting people around me is that my husband who was doing better now faces the same problem am going through. Then my best friend lost her job and my sister as well. So it seems that from everywhere its the same story could it be said to be a concidance

Hello again,

It sounds more to me that your family is suffering, as so many others are, from the world financial problems, and the changing world e3nergy .. that is asking us all to confront our greatest fears and find, instead, the good in every situation, or person we encounter.

As I said, if it is a curse, even a self-created one, the Michael Invocation will help – even if only to reassure you that you are not creating other people’s problems for them. (And you could have each member of your family do it as well, if you wanted to).

Sorry, Chinelo, I should have said I’m sorry to hear about your father, and I do hope your mother is improving. Yesterday was a slightly insane day, and I was writing very fast messages between quick trips in and out of the house.

I agree with Ama. It sounds like you’re going through what most of us are. I feel the health issues pertain to the stresses of life right now. I always seem to get sick when I’m really stressed out about something. I’m trying to teach myself to not let life’s situations get the best of me. We’re struggling from week to week but I feel very blessed that we have a roof over our head, food to eat, clothes to wear and thankfully at the moment we both have jobs. Money is tight but we have each other. One of the “cheap” ways we’ve found to have fun? Just sit around the table and talk and laugh. I always know that whatever happens I have my family and that’s all I need.

Hello Bridget,

Great attitude. Money is tight here too, but life is good and learning to juggle our resources and to be grateful for all that we have can teach us a lot about ourselves.

Stress .. vitamin C and valerian (natural calmative), and laughter (but you’ve got that one already :-)). Oh, and go for walks if you can. It helps to burn up the extra energy we create with all that emotion! LOL At present I am helping my husband do a lot of gardening as we renovate this old house (I really should be finishing the bathroom but .. its ok for now (shhh don’t tell my mother I said that LOL, mind you, she loves guardening too).

More gardening today .. but later .. its only 6.30am here in Oz. 🙂

Hi Ama,

I hope your back holds up after gardening better than mine did. The last time I tried to garden, I was down on my back for a few days (lol). Don’t worry, I won’t say anything about the bathrooms. I need to do that also. Obviously if I’m typing this, I’m not cleaning. 🙂

Hello Bridget,

Yes, my back is still alive, so are my arms, neck and shoulders .. all of them are protesting, but mowing is still fun. As for the bathroom .. shudder. I have the wallpaper and tiles .. its next on the list, after some painting. LOL

I’ll be glad when all this reno stuff is over ..

Love & Peace
